You guys, I am currently sitting on the couch sipping coffee while watching a Christmas movie after I just went outside to see snow that is actually sticking to the ground (in HOUSTON)!!!! When I woke up this morning, I wasn’t expecting to see a Houston version of a winter wonderland. Due to the roads freezing all of my morning work has been cancelled, so I’m just going to relax today and enjoy this awesome weather. Now that I got all of that excitement out, I will get you guys caught up in my life. Hope y’all enjoy 🙂Jordan and I went to see Justice League on the premiere night and we absolutely loved it! We loved it so much that we ended up going to see it again the following Saturday night. Friday morning, I stopped by Coco Crêpes for some breakfast and coffee after coaching and had a nice time relaxing. I love going when the weather is nice outside so that I can enjoy reading a book or writing on my blog as long as I like. Jordan ended up joining me a bit later to get himself a crêpe and coffee. I’m so glad that I got him to fall in love with this place too. I spent the daytime on Friday making some Trolls headbands for Mila’s birthday party. They were so fun to make and I loved how they turned out. Here is the tutorial I followed as a guideline for the headbands.I coached Saturday morning from 7:30am-1pm and then the party started!! We were able to get a party room reserved at the rink and all of Mila’s cousins came to ice skate with her. She had so much fun and loved getting to dress up like Princess Poppy. They’re so cute. 💕The birthday girl and I! ShaRon and her sister, Nicole also made some more headbands for the adults to wear. They were awesome!! And don’t forget party favors!!! Everyone got a Trolls lollipop. 

After the party finished, Jordan, Mila, and I went home to take some much needed naps before we went to see Justice League again. I’m telling you guys, it’s an amazing movie and you should definitely go see it. Even Mila sat through the entire thing! Monday evening, about 18 of us went to Santa’s Wonderland. It was Jordan, Mila, and my first time to go and it was incredible. As soon as they open the doors and you walk inside, there is fake snow being blown on you and you instantly feel like you’re at the North Pole, then there is this awesomely dressed announcer, singing Christmas songs to everyone and getting you all amped for Santa and Mrs. Clause to come out and sing a song. Santa’s Wonderland is in College Station, TX. The cool thing about it is that it is sooo Christmas-y, but it’s also Texas themed. Even Santa and Mrs. Clause came out wearing cowboy boots, hats, and lots of bling. We all sat down for some dinner before exploring the rest of the Wonderland. They had different stations for food, so you could choose to eat burgers, pizza, BBQ, fried chicken, or many different dessert places. I ordered some brisket & sausage that came with all of the normal fixings (my favorite being potato salad).Jordan’s Dad bought me a delicious glass of Cabernet at one of the Wonderland Winery stations. They had them all over the place, which was pretty awesome! Our next stop was to find the line for the hay ride that took you to see all of the amazing Christmas lights. For a good portion of the hay ride, Mila and I tried to convince Jordan to build us a castle like this one day. The lights were so beautiful. They had this cute little barn and the TV on it was playing Christmas movies. They also had benches all over for people to sit and watch. You could go purchase marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate to take to their roasting pit to make s’mores. To leave you had to walk through their Christmas store that was filled with tons of toys, ornaments, stockings, and many other Christmas things. The attention to detail and everything that they had to offer at this place was truly out of this world and they apparently add more to it every single year. It surely put us all in the Christmas spirit the week of Thanksgiving (lol). I cannot wait to go back again. Jordan and I were going to be heading to Schulenburg to spend Thanksgiving with his family this year, but we wanted to grab some dinner with my grandparents the night before we left. We tried a new restaurant nearby called, “Uncle Julio’s,” and they had some of the best Mexican food and margaritas that we’ve ever tasted. Jordan and I split some medium rare, beef fajitas and we each got a patron margarita on the rocks. We arrived in Schulenburg on Wednesday just in time for the sunset and boy was it a beautiful one. For dinner we had some brisket, roast, green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes. It was some great comfort food to keep us warm while we all sat around the fire.We all sipped wine, shared stories, and tried our best to stay warm around the fire.I felt so happy that night and couldn’t help myself from taking this sweet picture. My heart melted when I looked over and saw them all snuggled up.  Thanksgiving morning we woke up to coffee, breakfast tacos, and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After breakfast, I got started on making my mini pumpkin pies. I always love how cute they look when they are mini. Once the pies were finished, I went to get ready for the day. It was so nice to go relax by the fire with the girls while the food was finishing cooking. Jordan’s aunt made all the ladies a wonderful berry spritzer for our first drink of the day. Jordan was working hard on the turkey with his Dad and I just felt like he was so in his element. The turkey turned out amazing and I couldn’t get enough of it. Everything tastes amazing!! My favorites were the turkey and the squash casserole, but I loved every single dish on that table. After desserts, everyone headed out by the fire for more wine and talking. It felt amazing outside. Jordan, Mila, and I also tried to take some pictures together. We ended the night watching old home videos, which included tons of Jordan as a baby and I was so happy to see that. Sunday morning, we all woke up and ate some Kountry kolaches. I had a cream cheese kolache and some coffee. It was delicious! After the boys got it all prepared, we went to shoot clay in the pasture. I can’t even explain to you how fun it is to do this! I drove back to Houston in the early afternoon to make it back for my family’s tradition of PJ Movie Day!! We all went to see Disney’s new movie, “Coco.” This was one of the best animated movies I have ever seen because not only was the story and music entertaining for people of all ages, but the design of the animation was beautiful and mesmerizing to watch. They also played a cute short story of Frozen Christmas, which was also very fun and sweet to watch. After the movie, almost everyone headed to my grandparents house for Thanksgiving leftovers and cards against humanity. It was a fun night! Sunday, we all went to Uncle Julios for lunch to celebrate Taylor and Davis’ birthday’s early since Taylor was in town for the weekend. We ordered them each a chocolate piñata to sing “happy birthday.” The chocolate ball was filled with fruit and churros that fell out onto the platter once you cracked the ball open with a piñata stick. It was incredible.

It was so nice getting to have a long weekend off of work and spent with loved ones. I made so many memories that will never be forgotten.
