Everyday Shenanigans, The New Baby, and Halloween!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well and have had an exciting week and Halloween weekend. I cannot wait to share my Halloween festivities with all of you. 🎃The last couple of weeks have been filled with normal everyday shenanigans, which consists of studying, working, working out, and spending time with my family and Jordan.

Jordan and I have been trying to workout together as much as we can during the week. It has been so much fun working out with him because he is such a goofball and dedicated at the same time. Two weeks ago, I met up with my family and friends for Tex-Mex (obviously our favorite) and margaritas after I got off work. We had such a great night with everyone!Last weekend (Oct. 22nd), my family had our annual Halloween party. Our Halloween party is something I look forward to all year because we always have the best people show up, which makes for a night filled with tons of fun and dancing.

Also, my sister’s Cheshire Cat costume/makeup was amazing!I’ve always wanted to be Sandy for Halloween, so I was ecstatic when Jordan told me he wanted to be my Danny this year. ❤️I loved their Cosmo and Wanda costumes!!My grandfather showed up as the best Rainbow Bright I have ever seen and my grandmother was the cutest rainbow pony! My Mom and Dad dresssed up as Bob and Linda from Bob’s Burgers. If you haven’t seen that show before, I definitely recommend that you go check it out!My sister (the Cheshire Cat), did my brother’s Mad Hatter makeup, our friend Luke’s Joker makeup, and her own makeup. She is so talented and they all looked amazing. You know it’s been a great night when you fall asleep with a Whataburger taquito in your hand. Last Wednesday, my aunt and uncle had their new baby, Dustyn Dean Davis. It was so exciting waiting for my little cousin to enter this world. He’s precious! Friday night, Jordan and his little girl came over to hang out while I babysat Hudson. I scrambled up some eggs and cooked biscuits while Jordan cooked a steak for us. Breakfast for dinner is my favorite! This past Saturday, we went with both of our families and some friends to the Vintage for “Characters and Candy.” It was such a cute event. All of the kids were able to take pictures with their favorite characters, trick or treat in some of the stores, and there was a little concert at the end of the night. Definitely want to go back next year if they do it again.I went to Hudson’s flag football game on Sunday afternoon. His team scored their first touchdown, which was very exciting. I just love how cute he looks in his little outfit. It sucked that Halloween fell on a Monday this year, but we still made the most out of it. I had a Statistics test Monday morning, so we carved our pumpkins once I was finished. That evening, we all went to my aunt and uncle’s house to have some pizza and trick or treat with the kiddos (I brought my own treat with me 😉)!Yesterday, Jordan and I went to the gym to workout our legs. It was so much fun! Legs are my absolute favorite thing to workout, plus it’s so nice having him as my workout buddy. After the gym, I came home and made myself some garlic pesto salmon, long grain wild rice, and corn for dinner while I watched DWTS with my family. I’m loving this season of the show. Who is your favorite dancer so far?

Well I’m off to running some errands this morning. I’m going grocery shopping so I can have some lunches prepared for the rest of the week. I’m also getting my green smoothie ingredients to get back on my green smoothie for breakfast kick (they are so good for you!!!).

I hope y’all have a wonderful week, I’ll be back  again very soon!

XOXO, Paige.
