I’m back just like I promised! This is such an exciting post that I cannot wait to share with y’all! It’s filled with yummy food, family time, and saying “yes” to the dress! Before I get started on Thanksgiving, check out how cute Huk is!! He stayed at Tomball Pet Resort when we traveled to Miami this past September and while he was there, they snagged the most adorable Fall themed picture of him.
On Thanksgiving Eve, I spent the evening at my parents house making my favorite miniature pumpkin pies (I’ll have to share this recipe soon)! My grandmother made a seasoned rainbow trout for dinner with a side of couscous and Brussel sprouts, which was so delicious! We also stopped by Chick-fil-a later on to enjoy our annual chocolate peppermint milkshake. My tummy was so full by the end of that night!
I headed over to my parents around midday to hangout on Thanksgiving, but meal time wasn’t until the evening. My stomach was counting down the minutes until it was turkey & casserole time.
My family put a spin on Thanksgiving this year by adding in a gender reveal. We all walked outside to see my sister, Bailey, dressed as a doctor and ready to deliver a baby (doll) out of the turkey. IT’S A BOY!!!
The food was great, but the family time was even better! Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays because I love the fact that it’s all about coming together on one day (and enjoying delicious food of course) to celebrate how thankful we all are. ❤️

Huk had tons of fun running around all over Jordan’s grandparents land, we shot skeet, ate more yummy food, and I also got to spend special time with his family. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, I headed to Downtown Austin with my mom, Grammy, sister, brother, and future sis-in-law for my dress appointment at Blush Bridal Lounge. I had the sweetest consultant and we were all showered with champagne and yummy snacks as soon as we walked through the doors.
Going to my first ever dress appointment, trying on gorgeous gowns, and meeting Hayley Paige truly felt like such a magical day. I was beyond thrilled to be able to find the perfect dress during my very first appointment. I wasn’t sure what to expect because I didn’t have an exact vision of what I wanted. I have loved Hayley Paige dresses in pictures for the last couple of years, but didn’t know how I’d like them on me and I had also been obsessed with Kate Middleton’s wedding gown since the royal wedding. I knew that I wanted to find something that was romantic, sexy, and elegant all at the same time and my dress definitely captured all of those elements. I am counting down the days until I get to see Jordan’s face as I walk down the aisle. I just know that he is going to love it!
Well I truly hope that you all have the merriest Christmas! I will be back with a very Christmas-y post soon! I love you guys and hope you have the greatest time celebrating Christ, your families, & your friends. ❤️🎄
XOXO, Paige.
