Spring Break 2017!

Being an adult and no longer being in school means that you technically don’t get a “Spring Break,” but I wanted to fill my week with as many fun things as possible when I wasn’t working, so here it is πŸ™‚Every Spring Break begins with the tradition of going to the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade with my family and friends. We had so much fun eating, drinking, and trying our best to catch as many beads as we possibly could. After the parade, we all swung by District 249 for some more eating and drinking lol.  Had to share this one because he’s just so cute!
The Monday night of spring break I got some brownies and ice cream to enjoy while we watched the season finale of the Bachelor. I was honestly pretty disappointed with Nick’s choice, but the brownies were on point. I thought Raven was amazing. Hopefully she will find someone on Paradise.

As soon as we sat down to eat these bad boys, Jordan said “these are definitely blog worthy,” so I had to snap a shot of him πŸ™‚
Tuesday night, Jordan and I had a spontaneous fajita date because I was craving a strawberry margarita. We also went to pick out some swimsuits for our upcoming lake weekend.
Target has some super cute one pieces and two pieces this year! I can’t wait to get some more for the summer πŸ™‚ Wednesday night, Jordan, Brittany, Nick, and I went to see Thomas Rhett preform at the Rodeo. He did such an amazing job and even surprised everyone with Danielle Bradbery!

Before the performance, Jordan and I went to walk around the shops and he bought me my very first “real” cowboy hat. I love it! πŸ™‚ Jordan tried a crΓͺpe for the very first time on Thursday. I’ve been wanting to go to my favorite place (Coco CrΓͺpes) with him since we started dating and we finally made it there. He ordered a breakfast crΓͺpe with eggs, cheddar cheese, and wild mushroom sauce and he loved it! Thursday evening, I went to see the premiere of “Beauty and the Beast” with my family, Jordan, his Mom, and Brittany. I was blown away by this movie! They couldn’t have chosen a better cast, the costumes were impeccable, and the special effects were also amazing. It was such a joy to watch my favorite actress play Belle and I will wholeheartedly admit that I teared up quite a few times while watching this. Friday evening, Jordan and I drove to Wimberley to meet up with his family for a lake weekend on the boat. We stayed in this cute little cabin that had an incredible view. I think this place would be such a great place to just get away if you need to relax. It would also be such a great anniversary spot to spend some quality time with your love. I wouldn’t mind drinking my coffee outside every morning with a view like this. Saturday morning, we all went out to explore downtown Wimberley. It was so beautiful and they had some really neat, little shops. β€‹

Once it warmed up a bit, we all headed out to the lake. The water was freezing, but I had such a great time riding the boat, dancing, watching people wakeboard, and attempting to wakeboard myself. Sunday morning, we woke up to cinnamon rolls, bacon, fruit, and coffee. I love waking up to the smell of breakfast food. We all went back out on the boat for a bit Sunday before heading back to Houston. We did quite a bit of tubing, which was so much fun! We decided to take a “Titanic” picture, so we tried our best to channel our inner Jack and Rose.

I had such a great time doing traditional, spontaneous, and adventurous things over this spring break and cannot wait until summer!! I will be back to write more recap posts very soon and finally get caught back up with my blogging. I hope that you all are doing amazing and had a great spring break.

XOXO, Paige.
