Hey y’all! Today was the first day of my AdvoCare 24-day challenge and it went great!!
The 24-day challenge constists of two different phases, the cleanse phase and the max phase. The cleanse phase is the first one and it lasts for the first 10 days, which is what I am currently doing.
During the cleanse your diet is slightly stricter than it will be during the max phase and you also have to take different products. During the cleanse you have to take spark (my favorite is pink lemonade ❤️) in the morning along with probiotic restore vitamins 30 minutes before breakfast. When you have breakfast you also have to drink a fiber drink, my personal favorite is citrus flavored and it honestly isn’t that hard to drink. For breakfast I had an AdvoCare meal bar and a banana because I didn’t have enough time to make anything, but I didn’t mind that at all because their meal bars are delicious.
I had to coach and had biology class today, so I ate an AdvoCare snack bar during my little break between my biology lecture and lab.
Before I left school I mixed up another spark and drank it on my way home. Once I got home I started making lunch for my mom and I.
I chopped up some red potatoes (I only ended up using two) and then started cooking them on a skillet with a little bit of extra light olive oil and some kale.
I also cooked 3 egg whites and 1 whole egg to eat with these yummy potatoes!
My mom added a couple eggs to her potatoe scramble and also put some salsa on top to add some extra flavor. This meal was delicious and is one of my favorites!!
After my lunch, I went with my family to the gym. I ran a little over 2 miles, did some strength training, and sit-ups. It was a killer workout, but I loved it!!
This evening my mom made some chicken fajitas along with a brown rice and black bean mix. I just ate the chicken without the tortilla and the rice mix on the side. It was so good!! I also had to take a couple of omegaplex pills with dinner, which are fish oil but they don’t taste fishy at all!! 😉
I ended my night with some Tutti Frutti.
I got myself some sugar free, dairy free, fat free, vanilla frozen yogurt with strawberries and walnuts. It was delightful.
Today has gone wonderful!! I have had great energy throughout this busy day which I’m super happy about because I didn’t get good sleep last night and I had to be up early this morning. I haven’t craved any bad foods and have had fun making and thinking of new healthy recipes.
I probably won’t be writing about the challenge for another week, but please let me know if any of y’all have questions!
XOXO, Paige.
