I can’t believe I made it through this week of school alive. The week started out amazing, but as the studying went on my brain officially was fried! However, it’s Spring Break now and I get a little bit of time to not think about school or work, which will be so amazing.
Here is a little recap for y’all! 🙂 I had a biology test on Monday morning and was inside of a school from 10:30am-2:30pm, so I decided to set up a study area on my balcony to get some fresh air. I love it when the weather is a little gray and windy! I lit a delicious smelling pumpkin candle, brought a cozy blanket, and a cup of hazelnut flavored coffee.
My evening class ended up getting cancelled so my parents asked me if I would like some Pappadeaux’s for dinner, which I of course said yes to!
Hudson dressed up as a ninja turtle for dinner.
We ordered some spinach & crab dip for an appetizer. It was so good!
Davis ordered himself an Alaskan King Crab. Those legs were giant in person.
I ordered some grilled soft shell crab and red mashed potatoes.
My mother with her little ninja turtle. So cute! Also, my sister was at the Rodeo this evening for those of you who were wondering.
My mom and I picked up some red wine on the way home to enjoy while we watched the bachelor. This is my new favorite! I keep searching for wine from Rioja at the grocery store and this is definitely the best one I’ve found so far.
I studied all day on Tuesday for my lab exam that was on Wednesday morning. After my lab exam I came home to even more studying. Trust me I know this is boring, I just wanted to let y’all know how exactly my brain ended up fried lol.
I made myself an English styled lunch after my lab exam on Wednesday. My sister and I have decided that we’re going to travel throughout Europe once we each save up enough money. I had always planned on saving up money and touring Europe once I finish my undergraduate degree, but never felt comfortable with the idea of me going alone, so the furthest I planned anything was to just up save money. Now that my sister has decided that she SERIOUSLY wants to go with me, we have been determining which countries we want to explore, attractions we want to see, and have been figuring out exactly how much money we should each save. All of this talking about Europe reminded me of how much I loved the food in England and France last time I went, so I made myself some egg whites, toasted a multigrain English muffin that was topped with Nutella, and also drank a cappuccino.
I studied for about 7-9 hours on Wednesday trying to ready myself for my medical terminology exam that took place this morning. That test was so hard. I snacked on popcorn, had a pumpkin scented candle burning (again), and had several different movies playing in the background while I studied. I always need some background noise while I study, whether it’s classical music or movies.
For dinner I made some pancakes and enjoyed some juicy strawberries. It was so yummy!!!
Today, I started to make some plans for spring break. I’m planning on trying out a bunch of different group workout classes that my gym provides since I haven’t had time to try them yet. I’m planning on trying their Zumba, Pilates, yoga, and cycling classes. I have tried these all before at my old gym and loved them, so hopefully I enjoy them at the new gym as well. I have also planned some fun things to do with my friends and family. Sunday I am going to a St. Patrick’s Day parade, which I go to every year and I’m also planning a trip to the beach and the zoo. I’m so excited!
This evening I watched Mockingjay part 2 for the first time since I had seen it in theaters. I forgot how much I loved that movie. I got chills at least 5 different times. Team Peeta & Katniss for life!
I hope that y’all have an incredible weekend and Spring Break!! I will let you know how mine goes. ❤️
XOXO, Paige.
