Well today turned out to be a productive day. I was able to get out of bed and work this morning and while I was there one of my co-workers gave me a very helpful tip. She told me to rent my textbooks that I will be needing for school (which starts next week….) on Amazon.com. Once I got back home I purchased my textbooks, I ended up spending the same amount of money renting both books that I would have spent renting one of the textbooks in the bookstore at my university. So for any college kids out there I definitely recommend this tactic!

After I got the textbook situation solved I decided to use my free time to clean my apartment. Cleaning is something I actually enjoy doing when I have the time to fully get it all done. While I hung up all of my clothes which were randomly lying around (because I can never decide what I should wear), vacuumed the floors, did the dishes, and much more, I was also jamming to my Christmas playlist which is filled with Jessica Simpson, Mariah Carey, Idina Menzel and Christina Perri. On top of me being crazy listening to Christmas music in August, I also had my pumpkin scented scentsy burning; I can honestly say that I was in my happy place. If you think I’m weird I really don’t care. I was happy and that’s all that matters!
I mentioned yesterday that I currently have a cold. It’s getting better, but it’s still here… I don’t usually like to listen to the rule about “resting when you’re sick” so I of course tried to get a run in last night and then again today after I finished cleaning. Neither of my runs went very well (SHOCKER) but at least I still got out there and I ran!

This evening I have been trying to put together some healthy recipes that I will be trying out soon. I will also be creating a recipe page soon and will be sharing lots of yummy food with you all! 🙂
Goodnight y’all!
XOXO, Paige.
Glad you are feeling better. Up and doing stuff is a very good sign! Would love to see some of the recipes – I know how good you are about being healthy and I could use some of those…tehe! School starts next week? Love you – have a GREAT day! See you Saturday…yay!!!
